After a courageous battle with heart and kidney disease, Antonio Frisina passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Francesca (née Crea) for over 51 years. Cherished father of Domenica (née Frisina) and Greg Macasevic, and Carmen Frisina. Loving grandfather to Karlo and Angelina Macasevic, and Cecil, Clara, and Chloe Robson. Predeceased by his parents, Filippo and Domenica (née Laface) Frisina, and predeceased by his siblings Giuseppe (late Maria) of Australia, Francesco (Giovanna), Domenico (Teresa), and Concetta (late Giuseppe Calabria). Predeceased by his in-laws Michele and Domenica (née Marciano) Crea. Dear brother-in-law to Vince (Rose) Crea, the late Grace (Giuseppe) Gagliano, and Carmela (Maurizio) Antonelli. Antonio will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends across Canada, the United States, and Australia.
Tony was a dedicated hairstylist for over 60 years at Cavalier Hairstyling for All (Whitney Ave), where he formed lasting bonds with countless clients. He was an artist in his craft and took great pride in his lifelong trade. All who knew him would agree-his chair was more than a place for a haircut; it was a place of connection.
