Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the age of 93 years.
Anna Peter (nee Trautrim) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Heinz Peter. Mother of Sonja (Alfred), James, and Linda. Grandmother of George, Anna, Victoria, Ben and Jenny. Great-grandmother of Lara, Emily, Gus, Ernie and Simon. Daughter of the late Johann and Ande Trautrim. Sister of Eva Hagenah (late Herman) and Dina Schuetz (late Albert). Predeceased by siblings John Trautrim (Anneliese), Marie Hammel (late Edmund), Henry Trautrim (Herta), and Martin Trautrim (late Gerda). Survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by fellowship and refreshments. Interment in Zion/St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery, Boundary Rd., Pembroke.
