Some people leave behind memories.
Connie left behind much more.
Whether in a grocery store, a gas station, a concert, a restaurant, or a waiting room, she could strike up a conversation with anyone and somehow leave with a new friend.
Concetta Filippo loved to travel, to explore, and to see what was around the next corner. If there was an opportunity to get out of the house and go somewhere new, she was already putting on her shoes.
She took pride in herself. She loved dressing well, looking her best, and carrying herself with confidence and grace.
But more than anything, Connie loved her family.
She expressed that love through her constant encouragement, her endless support, and meals that brought everyone together around the table.
To those who knew her best, her cooking was unforgettable. So was the way she made people feel.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to tell others about them.
A woman of deep faith, Connie spent her life serving the Lord and remained devoted to her parish family at St. Patrick’s Church, where she will be remembered with love and gratitude.
The world feels quieter without her voice in it, but richer for having known her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
May her memory be eternal.
