It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leon “Gord” Johnson.
Gord was the beloved husband of Jane Johnson and a treasured father to Ronnie (Michelle) Johnson and Andy Johnson.
His legacy continues through his cherished grandsons, Micah and Isaiah.
Gord was the loving son of Shirley Johnson and the late Leonard Johnson.
He is also survived by his brother Jason (Sue) Johnson and his sister Melody Johnson.
He will be profoundly missed by his furry companion, Lila.
Gord spent over 20 years as a dedicated welder at Wesbell before “retiring” and moving to South River, where he worked at Swift Canoe.
In his spare time, he found immense joy in fishing, watching NASCAR racing, and sharing his passion as an avid Star Trek fan.
In keeping with Gord’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Raney Funeral Chapel.
