Heather Ann Hargreaves

December 27, 1946 – September 5, 2025

Vintage portrait of a woman with curly hair.

Honey grew up in Toronto the second oldest of 8 siblings. They ran a Tupperware distribution facility there for many years. Later on in her years she partnered up in an equine farm in Little Britain. At the same time, she worked for the Canadian Trotting Association at Kawartha Downs.
After many moves, and adventures, Honey found herself her true home in Cobourg in 1991. Here she worked at Northumberland News (advertising), then at Russo.
After her retirement, she started volunteering at Northumberland Humane Society, where she met a wonderful group of people. Some, Isabel, Roma, Sandra, Allana (Fran), went above and beyond these past five years helping her through all her medical issues. Thank you.
There was nothing more Ma loved than a round of golf, or an ice cold Becks at Kelly’s with everyone. She left this life a fighter till the bitter end with no regrets.
Caroline Murphy, thank you for guidance.
Shelly Nelson, thank you for the help I needed. Melonie Whaley, thank you for being a caring nurse to Ma. Dr. Mule, Ed’s House Staff, thank you for being with her.
Honey requested no service.
