Peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025 at her home in Port Perry with her husband by her side, at age 80. Margaret (nee Jones), beloved wife of James “Jim” Lawrence. Loving mother to Declan MacGowan of Oshawa, and Heather Parr of Port Perry. Cherished grandmother to Darien Parr, Erika Crichton, Alison MacDonald, and Amberle MacDonald. Proud great-grandmother to Skylar and Maxxton Crichton. Also leaving to mourn are her siblings Clara Jones of Edmonton, Irene Logan of Saskatoon, and David (Terry) Jones of Calgary. Predeceased by her brother Wayne (Carole) Jones, and her sister Lorraine (Bill) Bond.
Rested at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Funeral details will be available at a later date. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
