Passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025 in his 91st year. December 8, 1934 – September 11, 2025. Survived by his wife Margaret (James), son Neil (Lori), daughters Gail McMurray (Len) and Brenda Bruley and grandchildren Elke, Julie, Shannon, Zach and Jennifer and three great-grandchildren; Sukayna, Sam and Bille Abdi. Predeceased by his parents Tom Dring and Effie (Snider) Dring and son-in-law Jefferson Bruley.
Chuck was a lifelong resident of Port Dover and longtime employee at Ivey’s Greenhouses. Chuck’s greatest love and enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered by all. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 1 pm at Port Dover Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. George St. Port Dover. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 519-583-1530.
