Alice’s spirit is now free to soar joyfully to the eternal future of her firmly held faith. Alice will no longer live beside us; rather she will reside within all who knew her.
Alice was the daughter of Statira and Clifford Mertens, and sister of Ethel (Corry). She shared 55 1/2 years with her husband Barry Robert. She enjoyed her daughters Alyssa (Murray Kaye) and Anita (Brian DeJong) and granddaughters Calysta and Chloe (Kaye) and Rayleen and Nicole (DeJong).
In respect of her fervent attachment to 4-H Ontario, donations to this organization would be appropriate.
