It is with profound sadness that the family of Becky Pierce announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the age of 67.
Becky was a beloved wife, cherished mother, adored Grandmother, and loved Sister (my hero). Her family was her world. She was selfless, kind, compassionate, a fighter, and had a heart of gold. These traits also described Becky as a Nurse. She was so proud to be a Registered Nurse. Becky will be lovingly remembered by; her husband of 47 years Joe, her children Stacey (Brent) Collins, and Adam (Mel) Pierce, and by her grandchildren Lauren, Paige, Pheobe, Wyatt, and Becky.
Becky is survived by her brother, Rick (Ann) Dilts; mother-in-law, Hedy (the late Fred) Pierce, sisters-in-law Debbie (the late Jim) Marr, Gail (Rick) Fraipont, and Mel (Dave) Rae, and by many nephews and nieces. She will also be dearly missed by her close friends. Becky was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Vera Dilts, her brother Larry (Linda) Dilts, and her sister-in-law Judy (George) DeRuyte.
The family will receive friends at the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Armstrong Chapel with Pastor Brian Lofthouse officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan’s Point Cemetery, Wainfleet, Ontario. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
