It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Father, Nonno and Bis-Nonno Domenico De Carolis. He has returned into the loving arms of his wife Iria (2020) of 72 years. Loving father to Vincenza “Nancy” Vitella (Aldo), the late Elio De Carolis (2022) (Alana), and Dalia Difazio (Frank). His legacy and memory continues through his cherished grandchildren Melissa Lockhart (Anthony), Mark Vitella (Angie), Bianca Antonucci (Andrew), Nick Fantetti, and Felicia Demarco (Ray). Proud Bisnonno to Matteo, Anthony, Ariana, Ava, Milla, Gianluca, Presley, and Baby Demarco. Domenico was born in Alvito, Italy and is predeceased by his parents Domenico De Carolis and Vincenza (nee. Difazio), and father in-law and mother in-law Donato and Angela DiCarlo. He will be missed by nieces and nephews. Domenico retired from the Windsor Salt Mine after many years of dedicated service. Domenico was a founding member of the Ciociaro Club. He was an avid gardener, baker, sausage maker, and the best vintner. He always enjoyed listening to his classical music, and taking time to dance. Domenico was a man of integrity, and made sure his family was his top priority.

E) 519-253-7234 on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 5:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. and Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 5:00p.m. – 9:00pm. Parish prayers on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 8:15a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
