CAUCHON, Roger Cauchon

It is with great sadness that the family announces his (Roger Cauchon) passing at the Toronto General Hospital, Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the age of 79 years.

Beloved husband of Danielle (nee Clouatre) Cauchon. Predeceased by his first wife Monique (nee Maisonneuve) Cauchon. Cherished father of Chantal Cauchon (Ray Seguin), Laura Gibson (Stephane Fortier) and Daniel Cauchon. Proud grandfather of Kendra Rodrigue (Joel), Courtney Tremblay, Gavin Tremblay, Madison Seguin and Chase Morissette. Great-grandfather of Haidyn and Deacon Rodrigue and Benson Caron. Dear brother of Jerry Cauchon (Danielle). Roger will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, great friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Ernestine Cauchon and his brother Willie Cauchon.

For more than 50 years, Roger devoted his career to Albert’s Sports and Workwear Ltd, which began as Albert’s Army Surplus, where he enjoyed serving and connecting with customers. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing. Roger was proud of the life he built and treasured the time he spent with family and friends. In his retirement, he continued to embrace the outdoors, especially enjoying peaceful days at the lake.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 am from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Fr. John Lemire officiating). In Roger’s memory, remembrance donations to the UHN FOUNDATION – The Peter Munk Cardiac Centre would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
