The family announces with great sorrow Huguette’s passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the age of 68 years. Beloved mother of Nicole (Pierre) Rice and René (Trisha) Mondor. Cherished Mémère of Amanda (André), Danny, Tiana (Stéphane), Roxanne (Mikey), Isabelle (Trent), Ashley, Paige, Hunter, Addysen as well as great grandmother of Hailey, Dustin, Chanelle, Calvin, Beau and Noah.

Dear sister of Suzanne (Camille) Levesque, Denise McLean, Denis (Suzanne) Létourneau, Colette (Aimé) Savard, Guy (Lise) Létourneau, Suzette Martin, Sylvie (Joce) Cossette, Linda (Dominique) Déraiche. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Trefflé & Bernadette Létourneau, her sisters Monique Gosselin, Claudette Alexander, Nicole Labranche & Francine Couture.

The family would like to thank the doctors at Timmins and District Hospital and the nursing staff especially Lope, Viba and Katrina for the compassion and care provided to mom during her short stay.

Huguette McMaster was a woman who was an avid camper. She would spend her summers by the lake at the Hazen. When she was not at the lake, she would do things she loved; playing cards, going to bingo and playing slots. Huguette would give back to her community by Volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul and bingos for Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Church. Many would remember her as a waitress at the Broadway, Timmins Hotel, St. Charles and Bob’s Restaurant.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Hazen Campsite (Times to be announced). Her burial of ashes will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery (Time to be announced). In Huguette’s memory, remembrance donations to St. Vincent de Paul or Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, ON.
