SILCOCK, , Paul Adam Silcock

It is with immense love and sadness that we announce the loss of Paul Adam Silcock, who passed away unexpectedly while travelling with his wife and youngest son in Thailand on March 29, 2026, at the age of 53.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Rita; sons, Ivan and Liam; parents, Ann and Geoff; sister, Katherine (Allan); niece, Hazel; as well as extended family members and many friends.

Paul grew up alongside his parents and sister on various acreages, where life was filled with fresh air, hard work, and a deep connection to the land and animals. He spent his younger years raising sheep and goats, proudly showing them at local fairs, memories that stayed with him throughout his life.

He carried that same appreciation for the outdoors and the simple things into adulthood. Paul valued time spent with the people he loved, always making space for connection, laughter, and helping others wherever he could. He was steady, kind, and someone others could rely on.

At 29, Paul married the love of his life, Rita, and together they built a life rooted in love and family. A few years later, their family grew with the arrival of their sons, Ivan and Liam, who were the centre of his world.

Paul was more than a son, husband and father β€” he was a pillar in the community. He spent countless hours coaching hockey, mentoring not only his own sons but many other young athletes. He gave his time generously through ski patrol, always ready to help others in times of need. His kindness, warmth, and willingness to show up for people made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Paul dedicated 24 years of his career to Valley Mitsubishi, where he worked as a fixed operations manager. He took pride in his work and was respected for his commitment, reliability, and the relationships he built over the years.

A celebration of life for Paul will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PT), at Valley Mitsubishi (2350 Enterprise Way, Kelowna, BC). Please bring your favourite stories and memories to share. Please RSVPΒ if you would like to attend; all are welcome.
