Peacefully, surrounded by family, went home to be with her Lord on May 23, 2026, at the proud age of 91. Leila Harriet Churchill (neé Peel). Beloved wife of the late Doug Churchill. Devoted and cherished mother of Marion Corner (Robert) and the late David Churchill (Carol). Loving Grandma and Great-Grandma of Christopher Corner (Christine), Melissa Reinsma (Derrick), Brandon Corner (Robin Kang), Katie Churchill, Jacob Churchill, Peyton and Luke Reinsma, Craig and Grant Corner, and Sienna Corner. Dear sister of Glen Peel (Betty), Jim Peel (Bonnie), the late Grace Ann Lainson (Harvey), the late Anne and Walter Peel, and Gordon Wires (Bonnie). Will be fondly remembered by many loving family in Ontario and Newfoundland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Rossland Rd E, Oshawa, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Bexley Cemetery, 532 Doyal Rd, Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.
