It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Douglas William Johnson on May 20th 2026 in his 86th year. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Lynda, his two children, Kim (Lorne) and Dean (Darlene), his three cherished grandchildren, Spencer (Helaina) Tanner (Jenny) and Brooklyn, his four beloved greatβgrandchildren, Adalynn, Ellie, Leon and Violet, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life.
A proud and active member of the Markhan Kinsmen Club, He dedicated countless hours to community service and fellowship. Known for his true mechanical mind, he built a respected career as a highly skilled and trusted boiler repair professional. His expertise, steady hands, and problemβsolving nature earned him admiration from colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond his work, he had a lifelong passion for collecting antiques, always drawn to the stories and craftsmanship of the past. In recent years, he found great joy in creating birdhouses that were lovingly upcycled from old bee boxes, each one a blend of creativity, resourcefulness, and the quiet ingenuity that defined him.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his craftsmanship, and the love he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in the family he adored and the community he helped strengthen.
