It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Michelle Moore (née Rowlands) at the age of 42.

Jacqueline was the beloved daughter of Michael and Yvonne Rowlands, devoted mother of Lillian and Austin Moore, and cherished sister of Tracey McMann, Cathrine Carlson, and James Rowlands. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Jacqueline had a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms and possessed a remarkable gift for music. An accomplished opera singer in her younger years, she performed with grace and passion, bringing joy and inspiration to those fortunate enough to hear her voice. Her love of music was a defining part of her life and a talent she generously shared with others.

A dedicated student, Jacqueline graduated with honours from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island with a degree in Marketing. She approached life with creativity, intelligence, and a vibrant spirit that left a lasting impression on those around her.

Above all, Jacqueline loved her children, Lillian (14) and Austin (11). They were a source of pride and joy throughout her life, and she treasured watching them grow. Although her health challenges made recent years difficult, the love she held for her children remained constant. The memories they shared and the special bond they created will always be a part of them. Lillian and Austin carry forward their own strength and resilience, and they remain Jacqueline’s most cherished legacy.

While her journey was not without hardship, Jacqueline’s family remembers her for the gifts she shared, the love she gave, and the moments of joy that remain in their hearts. Her memory will live on through those who loved her most.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service for Jacqueline on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11 a.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown. The family encourages everyone to please dress in bright colours to help honour the memory of Jacqueline.
