DEVINE, Jacqueline Rose Devine

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Rose Devine, a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and friend.

Jacqueline was the daughter of Joseph Francis and Ellen Christina Devine and grew up in Etobicoke, Ontario, alongside her siblings Paul, Christina, and Sean. She went on to build a life centered around her family and proudly worked at Ontario Power Generation for over 25 years.

She was the beloved mother of Amanda, Shane, and Richard, grandmother to Zachary, Theo, and Donovan, and partner to Bruce. She was also the former wife of Ken, with whom she shared an important part of her life and raised her family.

Jacqueline loved her grandchildren dearly. She was especially excited for retirement and the opportunity to spend more time with them, watch them grow, and create new memories together. Those moments were something she looked forward to deeply.

She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories she leaves behind. Although her time with us was cut far too short, the love she gave will remain with her family always.

Forever loved, forever missed, and always remembered.

Family and friends are invited to the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division Street Bowmanville, on Thursday, August 13, 2026 for a Visitation from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
