KELLETT, Edward Kellett

It is with immense sadness that I announce the passing of Ed Kellett, my partner and love for over 50 years. Ed passed on July 25 surrounded by family and friends.

Edward Kellett was a loving father to Charlene (Ben Kelly) and Scott; proud grandfather of Edward and Brooke. Predeceased by brothers Tommy(Mary), John,(Sylvia) and sisters Cathy and Elizabeth and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

During our 11 years in Wilmot Creek, Ed made numerous friends and enjoyed so many of the activities here – golf, darts, snooker, and my dance partner at the many entertainment events we attended. The time enjoying these many activities with our friends brought him much joy and laughter.

Ed fought gallantly these past 3 years managing lung and heart disease but did so with a smile and laugh and with a focus of getting as much out of life as possible.

I am fortunate to have many memories to look back on with Ed from travelling the world, golfing at so many beautiful locations during these travels and enjoying time with family and friends.

As per Ed’s wishes there will be no formal service. His ashes will be spread at one of his favourite spots – the family cottage. In lieu of flowers, donations to Marigold Hospice (Newcastle) would be appreciated. “Til we meet again.
