With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Chartrand on August 6, 2025, at the age of 67. Robert passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
Robert was a devoted husband to Dorthey Chartrand, with whom he shared many cherished years. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Julien, Ashton, Eevee, and Mason, and held a special place in the lives of Dorthey’s children, the late Jason and Jennifer (Josh).
Born to the late Robert Carl Chartrand and Pierrette Marie Chartrand (née Isenbarth), Robert grew up in a close-knit family. He is remembered fondly by his siblings: Patrick (late Sue), Dominique (late Joe), Eric, and Mike. His warmth, quiet strength, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Robert lived a life rooted in family, guided by quiet faith, and enriched by love and connection. He believed in the simple things—kindness, hard work, and being there for one another.
Service Details: A private service will be held with close family, and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Robert’s name.
