Miller, Fred (1941–2025)
It’s time for me to say goodbye to my loved ones and many friends.
I was blessed with the love of two wonderful women, Joyce (Mumby) Miller, the mother of my two sons and Sue (Spray) Mumby who became my partner, lover, and best friend.
Sue and I enjoyed traveling around the world, playing golf, and the company of our many friends. I was proud of my great son Darren (Kellie) and my wonderful 3 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
I was fortunate to have been blessed with many fantastic friends in my life. Longtime close friends who saw me through difficult and happy times. Coffee buddies who meet every week at Tim Hortons in Thorold to reminisce and enjoy kidding each other. As well as many friends who I met and played with at Sawmill Golf Course.
All in all, I’ve had a great life. Thank you to everyone I had the pleasure of knowing.
The family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, July 20, from 2–4 and 6–8 pm. Cremation to follow.
Please join us at the 19th hole to Celebrate the Life of Fred Miller on Sunday, August 10, at Cats Caboose from 2–4 pm for food, drinks, fellowship, and memories.
