Peacefully, with his family at his side, Ronald “Ron” Moore Ross passed away at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the age of 77. Ron was a longtime resident of Strathroy and formerly of Ailsa Craig.
Beloved son of the late Moore (1996) and Vera (2009) Ross. Cherished brother of the late Frank Ross (2009) and his wife Joy (2024), and uncle to their daughter Angela Ross and her daughter Samantha Brown, Kerry (Jason) and their children Nicole and Marcus, and Angus (Sheila) and their children Matthew, Sarah, and Rachel and Eileen.
Loving brother of Phyllis Maertens and uncle to her children: Marianne; Andrew (Shannon) and their daughter Phoebe; Julianne (Nathan) and their son Martyn; and Elizabeth-Ann (Jason) and their children Jasper and Percy.
Dear brother of David Ross (Judith) and uncle to their children: Cameron (Julie) and their children Cayden and Chloe; William (Eden) and their children Annabelle, Ethan, Troy, Levi, Malachi, and Tanner; and Emerson.
Fondly remembered by brother Gerry Doxtator (Leslie-Anne) and their children Isaac, Joanie, Katherine, and Leeanne (Alex), and by brother Kirk Campbell. Missed by special friend Robert Maertens and Louise Parsons.
Friends are invited to join the Ross family for visitation on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Nairn Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. following the reception.
