Passed away peacefully at the Village Green with her family at her side on Friday, May 29, 2026 in her 94th year. Daughter of the late Russell and Ola Craig. Loving wife of the late Roy Beattie. Dear mother of the late Gordon (Bonnie), Deborah (Owen) Storey, Philip (Angela), Rosemary Cancelli, and Brian (Sharlyss). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan (Christine), Sarah (Robert), Derek, Nicole (Jeff), Megan (Ryan), Anthony (Rachel), Renyck, Brayden, and Vanessa. Forever held in the hearts of her great grandchildren Taylor (Matt), Austin, Blake, Abigail, Rylee, Isabelle, and Summer, as well as great-great grandchild Paityn. Survived by brother Garnet (Sharon). Beulah May Beattie was predeceased by siblings, Muriel (Lewis) Rorabeck, Vivian (Sid) Wilson, and Wilmot (Doreen). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:30pm. Interment will take place at Newburgh Cemetery and afterwards, all are invited to a luncheon at the Wartman Funeral Home reception centre. Those unable to attend the funeral service in person may join us in celebrating Beulah via zoom with the Webcast link provided on the funeral home website.
