It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Bell, who left us on June 23, 2025, at the age of 53. Craig was a devoted father to his beloved daughters Cierra and Taylor Bell, and a proud father-in-law to Austin and Collin. He found immense joy in watching his daughters grow and in the bonds he shared with his extended family.
He was the cherished son of Joyce Vanlaecke, and stepson to the late Bob. He is also remembered by his father, William Bell, and stepmother, Susan Bell. Craig is survived by his loving sister, Suzi Ward, and brother-in-law, Robert Ward, as well as his nieces, Emily and the late Amanda, and nephew-in-law, Bailey. Craig was loved by his aunts Pearl Groat (Norman) and Shirley Godfrey (the late Ralph). He also leaves behind Monika, Nathan, and Frank, who were like family to him.
Craig’s life was defined by his dedication to family, friends, and career. He spent his time off playing frisbee golf with his kids, riding the trails on his quad with friends, or enjoying rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for a Memorial Visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Stedman Community Hospice in Craig’s memory.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
