We would like to celebrate the life of our beloved husband and father, Thakor Mistry, who peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the age of 82.
Thakor was born on June 18, 1943 in Eru, Gujarat, India and immigrated to Canada in 1968 to build a better life for his loving wife and children. Thakor dedicated his working life to supporting his family as a highly skilled tool and die maker.
He cherished family gatherings, especially sharing his love of food, sports, and games. He was fond of exploring all the wonders of the world while travelling with his wife and children to many different countries.
The funeral service will be held at North Toronto Crematorium Inc., 2 Stalwart Industrial Drive, Gormley, Ontario, L0H 1G0 on Friday, June 27 at 11:00 am.
Memorial gifts can be made in Thakor Mistry’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
We find comfort in the memories we shared with him and will always cherish the lessons he taught us. He was dedicated to his family and we appreciate the sacrifices he made for all of us throughout his life. He will forever be in our hearts.
