He passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Brenda. Dear Dad to Kevin, Tom (Monique) and Michelle. Loving Papa to Tayler, Danielle, Brody, Jesse, Jolene, Chasen, Chloe, and Zachary. Brother of Judy, Gail, Joyanne, and Peter. Predeceased by sister, Sharron, brothers,

Cliff, and Terry, and parents, Thomas and Clara. John will be missed by all his cousins, nieces, nephews & aunts.

John Thomas Levesque enjoyed classic cars and fishing for brook trout. He was always proud of his children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments, sharing them with anyone who would listen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2026 from 12 p.m to 2 p.m at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St., Bowmanville. Service will begin at 2 p.m in the Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Bowmanville Cemetery.

The family invites guests to join them for a reception following the burial at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sick Children Hospital in Toronto or Canadian Cancer Society.
