Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital with his family by his side on Friday, June 6, 2025, Doug Simzer of Brinston passed away at the age of 80.
Beloved Dad of Steve (Linda) and Mark (Lisa) Simzer. Cherished Grandpa of Cole (Ashlee), Devon (Rachel), Noah, Tess (Derek), Jay (Megan), and proud great-grandfather to Leo, Paisley, Everleigh, and Emery.
Dear brother of Henry, Mike (Jody), Margaret (Harry), and Elizabeth (the late Bruce). Predeceased by his parents Lillian (née Cronin) and Arnold Simzer, and by siblings Norman and Shirley. He is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
By Doug’s request, cremation has taken place.
