Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 4, 2025, at the age of 86. Reunited with her beloved husband Gabriel “Gabe,” with whom she shared 58 beautiful years of marriage.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents Henry and Irene Dupuis, and her in-laws Phillias and Isabelle Gagnier. Proud and loving mother to Anne-Marie (Ross), Andy (Julie), and Vince (Kathy). Cherished Mémé to Micheal, Jason, Chantelle (Nick), and Danielle. Adored great-Mémé to Kailynne, Morgan, Calum, and Benson, and great-great-Mémé to Oaklynne.
She was the sister of the late Henry Jr., late Bernadette Thompson (late Lawrence), late Dorina Dupuis, and Elizabeth Dupuis (Edward). Mary Ann was a devoted aunt to the Trepanier Family, who brought much love and kindness into her life.
She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and the extended Gagnier Family. Special thanks go to her “earth angel” Theresa Trepanier and husband Norman Grandin, and to longtime neighbours and close friends Lucille and Ugo Zanier, and Jan and Stan Weglarz.
Visitation will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 146 Talbot St. S., on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Country Meadows Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Ann may be made to Erie Shores Hospice.
