With saddened hearts, the family of Robert “Opie” Oatman announces his sudden passing at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the age of 63.
Dear brother of Richard Oatman, Randy Oatman (Brenda), Ronnie Oatman, and Tammy Harrison (Shannon). Cherished uncle to R.J., Billy, Tasha, Dustin, Kelsey, Erin, Adam, Mike, and Tammara, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
Robert is also survived by his aunts Mildred Pourchez and Marlene Martin (David), and uncle Murray Church. He was predeceased by his parents, John “Bud” Oatman (1987) and Elva Kathleen “Katie” Oatman (2025), and stepfather William “Bill” Oatman (2000).
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated and may be made directly online or through Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519-842-5221), who have been entrusted with arrangements.
