Diane (Hodder) Marks

It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that we announce the passing of wife, mother, and nana, Diane Marks. Peacefully, and with her husband Al by her side, Diane passed away, at 71, on Monday, May 5, 2025. Her life is a legacy, leaving behind some of her most cherished people; husband Al Marks, daughter Shannon Delaney (Kyle), Jaime MacKinnon (Keith), grandchildren Tucker and Sawyer, Reid and Claire, sister to Gary (Arlene) and predeceased sister Jo-ann (Wayne). She will be remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Janice, Judy and Dave (predeceased), Larry and Ela, Janet, Jeff, Dave and Chrissy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Adored by friends, Diane has left her mark on many people’s lives.

We would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all of the staff at Lakeridge  Health, Ontario Health at Home, and most especially Oak Ridges Hospice. Your compassion and care made Diane’s final days, ones of peace and comfort. We will never forget how she was treated and loved. Visitation will be held at Low & Low Limited, Port Perry on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and on Thursday May 15, 2025 from 10:00am – 11:00am.  A Service to Celebrate Diane’s life will follow in the chapel at 11:00am.
