It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Recoskie at the age of 84 years.
He leaves behind his very loving wife of 63 years, Rose (Lenhart), his son Rick, as well as his two grandchildren Kasandra & Jeffery.
He will be dearly missed by his brother Raymond and sister Elsie. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Florence, Gail and Marie as well as many nieces and nephews.
Leonard is predeceased by his son Barry, his parents Francis and Genevieve (Lorbetskie) Recoskie, his siblings Agnes, Xavier, Zigmond, Simon, Albert, Joseph and Dominic.
Leonard was born in Bonnechere and later lived in Round Lake Centre, until he went to work in the mines in the Timmins area for many years.
After his retirement he and his dear Rose, moved back to Round Lake Centre.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, Round Lake on Monday May 12, 2025 at noon followed by inurnment in the parish cemetery.
At the request of the family, donations to the Killaloe Food Bank would be much appreciated.
