Marsh passed away early Sunday morning after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be forever loved and missed by his spouse, best friend, and traveling companion Yvonne Del Mastro and his sister Maxine.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Marie (1994) and sister Daisy (2016). Fondly remembered by his sons Dave (Janet), Brian (Kim), and Steve (daughter-in-law Lori Spoltore), as well as the Del Mastro boys—Doug, Mike (Sandy), Dean (Kelly), and Jason (Heidi)—who welcomed Marsh as one of their own.
Marsh was blessed as Grandpa to Jenny, Jessica, Karen, Emily, Charlie, Jamie, and Lindsay, and known lovingly as Papa Marsh to Brian, Alicia, Charlotte, Reagen, and Taylor. He was Great Papa Marsh to Liam, Isla, and Rowan.
A meticulous and curious soul, Marsh enjoyed crosswords, word games, and “Connections” to the very end. He was an avid golfer, spending years at the Oshawa Golf Club and later at the Lindsay Golf and Country Club.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 PM at the Pie Eyed Monk Brewery, 8 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre – Cancer Centre are appreciated.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Springdale Country Manor for their compassionate care during Marsh’s final years.
