Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Diane Pedra for 41 years. Cherished father of Stephanie Pedra and her partner David Hamilton, and Joey Pedra and his wife Nicole Pedra.
Fernando was a devoted Grand Daddy to Spencer, Landon, and Layla. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Mary, Idelia, Manny, and Dina, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their families. Fernando’s warm spirit and kind heart will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visitation will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby, on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Barnes Chapel on Monday, May 5th at 1:00 p.m.
In memory of Fernando, memorial donations to the Paul Sullivan Centre in Brooklin would be appreciated by the family.
