Wendy Marie Amendola peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital. Wendy was the beloved wife of Frank Amendola for 47 years; and the loving mother of Michelle Amendola, Diane Alexander (Derrick), and Michael Amendola. Cherished Mama of Ashley, Hailey, Anthony, Zachary, Charlotte, Ethan, and Aubree.
Wendy will be remembered for her sense of humour and her middle finger salute, and her memory will live on with her extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation – Brain and Heart Care would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made via the St. Michael’s Foundation website.
