Passed away at Lakeridge Health Ajax on March 25th, 2025 at the age of 46. Kathryn was the loving wife of Miguel Sanchez and the cherished mom of Rosalie, Angel, and Anessa.
She was the much-loved daughter of Deb Toner (late Roger), and a loving sister to Kristen Toner-Trolley (Cohen) and Robyn Toner (Ryan Payne). Fondly remembered by her father-in-law Luis (late Maria), and a devoted aunt to Wyatt, Autumn, Ellis, Texas, and Preston.
Kathryn, known affectionately as Kate, will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. Her kindness, humour, and heartfelt presence touched the lives of many.
A celebration of Kate’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Road North, Whitby. Visitation and greetings will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kate’s honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
