With his wife by his side at Bluewater Health on April 1, 2025, Larry Douglas Morris passed away at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy and his proud sons Ryan and Brody.
Larry is also survived by his siblings Stephen (Diana), Vickie (Norm), and Pat (George), as well as his parents-in-law Grace and Carm Holbrook and brother-in-law Randy (Connie). He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and June.
Larry was the uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. He loved the miles he put on behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. Larry was proud of his service to the Legion, including his term as president. His friends will fondly remember him as “Bear,” and his signature beard will not be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
