Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026 at Lisaard House Hospice in Cambridge, Ontario.
Cherished mother of Justin Smith and Jonathan Smith (Robyn).
Proud grandmother of Lennon and Kallan.
Dear sister of Cheryl Harmer.
Predeceased by her parents John (Jack) and Helen Werstine.
Janice Mary Werstine spent years assisting children with special needs as an EA in several local school communities. She enjoyed spending her time in the sun by the pool, gardening, baking and spending time with her grandson’s Lennon and Kallan.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Lissard House would be appreciated by the family.
