Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on August 27, 2026. Ivan was born September 19, 1935 to Richard and Madilin Hayhurst, sister Katie (Denis) Kuck. Ivan married his wife, Patrica Kay Myhal, November 1, 1958. Ivan was survived by sons Glen (Sue), Jeff (Sherri), Rod (Brenda), Grandchildren Terry (Cindy) Hayhurst, Kyle (Holly) Hayhurst, Kasey (Payton) Hayhurst, Kelly (Mia) Hayhurst, Taylor, Sarah Hayhurst, Carrie Hayhurst, Great Grandchildren, Paris, Jacob, Paiten, Willow, Edison, Meadow, Max and Alex, Nephew Burtch Kuck
Ivan Hayhurst worked as a salesman for David Brown Tractors throughout most of his life as well as Greens Keeper for the Ava Golf Course and Lyndsay Arms Golf Course. Ivan was also very active in the Brant County Snooker League, the Brant County Mix Dart League, Ivan was a long member and passionate car racer with the Grand Valley Car Club.
