Passed away on August 30, 2026 at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, Ontario. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Bill. She will be remembered by her five children and their spouses, her 14 grandchildren, 7 great-greatgrandchildren, many honourary and foster children and her dear friends. She is survived by her two brothers Rick and Robi and her sister-in-law Bonnie and their spouses. In the prime of her life, Marie was devoted to her family and she enjoyed cooking, gardening and knitting. A private family event will be held to honour Marie. The family requests that any donations in Marie’s honour be made to Ed’s House Hospice or Northumberland Hills Hospital.
