
She was born to Carl and Ruth (Denham) Nagel on June 13, 1945, in Los Angeles California. When she was 2 her family moved to Leslieville, AB where she grew up on her family’s farm. She enjoyed attending bible camp in the summers, spending time swimming in the creek on their property and she would often spend the night sleeping outside in the summer so she could look up at the stars.
Carline Lavera Housworth met Dwight Housworth in Leslieville at the church they attended and were married on November 7th, 1964. They moved to the Grande Prairie area, and raised two daughters, Melody and Tracy on their homestead near Beaverlodge.
You more than likely met her at church or ladies bible study group, 55 plus, Gideons, kids clubs, and camp. She was a committed member to many. In 2021 they moved to Valleyview, where she enjoyed her time attending Emmanuel Baptist church where she and Dwight welcomed people as they entered. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren and many friends. Much time was spent outdoors camping, boating and going for walks especially in the fall.
She loved the Lord and had a strong desire to do what the Lord wanted her to do. She was very loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
Carline was predeceased by her parents Carl and Ruth, as well as her older sister Erma Baugh, and her younger brother Ray Nagel.
She is survived by her husband Dwight Housworth, older sister Linda Nagel, younger brother Darrell Nagel (Sonja), and daughters Melody (Ken Dobb) and Tracy (Will Bidne) and families.
Carline passed away August 30,2026 in Beaverlodge, Alberta at the age of 81.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
