Joyce Martha Kolba Obituary
Joyce Martha Kolba (née Froom, formerly McCrea) died on September 1, 2026, at the age of 95. Her family remembers her with deep love and gratitude for a life well lived.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, George Kolba; her parents, Alexander and Beatrice Froom; her brother, Gordon Froom; and her first husband, Frank McCrea.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Allyson (Geordie), Sandra, Barb, and Frank (Norma). Her family circle also includes Sara, Collin (Stacy), Ellaedee, Tyler (Sarah), and Lola. Joyce also leaves her stepchildren Dennis, Ken (Sandy), Kathleen (Barry), and Christine and their families, as well as her nephew Darrell (Shirley) and Andrea.
Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date. The family expressed appreciation to the staff of Broadmead Lodge and Glengarry Hospital for their care.
Flowers are respectfully declined. Memorial donations may be directed to the Joyful Living Program at Broadmead Care Veterans Memorial Lodge in Victoria.
