BORGES, Manuel Ricardo –
Manuel Ricardo Borges passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 84.
Manuel was the beloved husband of Maria for 58 years, and their marriage was a lasting example of devotion, partnership, and enduring love. He was a devoted father of Gary Borges, Dale Bond and her husband Thomas Bond, and Steven Borges. He was also a cherished grandfather of Alyssa Bond, who brought him great joy.
Born on September 1, 1942, in Portugal, Manuel was the son of the late Joao Borges and Maria Jose Borges, and he was a loving brother of Jose Borges, Antonio Borges, Maria Lurdes Braga, and Noemia Pereira. His family was at the center of his world, and he treasured each relationship deeply.
Those who knew Manuel will remember his gentle nature and the warmth he extended to others. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and his presence brought comfort to those around him. He lived with humility and grace, and his thoughtful manner left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Manuel’s family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and to the staff at ParaMed who cared for him with such dedication and compassion. Their kindness and professionalism were deeply appreciated during a difficult time, and their support brought comfort to those who loved him.
