It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph “Joe” Tucker Baker VanLuven on Friday May 8, 2026. Much loved son of Sarah Baker and Neil VanLuven.
Dear brother of Mason Baker (Alia), Cindy Nichols (Jeremy) and Caitlin Martinez (Ali). Cherished grandson of Bev VanLuven, Reg and Sandy VanLuven and Sharon Baker. Predeceased by his grandfather Peter Baker (Hyacinth). Loving nephew of Cindy Harper (Kevin), Beth Ann Morehead (Mark), David Baker (Teresa), Kim Lackie (Jeff), Gary Redmond and many cousins. Joe was a wonderful young man. Joe would lend a hand to anyone at the drop of a hat. Joe was a very smart, generous, and loving young man with a desire for the outdoors. He loved just hanging out with his friends, fishing, four wheeling, and hunting with his dad and had a passion for accessorizing his truck with the help of his friends. He will be missed. Thank you all for being his friend. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
