Paul “Newf” Price

It is with great sadness, that we announce Paul’s unexpected passing on Monday May 18, 2026 at the age of 62 years.  He will be forever loved and remembered by his father Leonard (late Patricia Price), mother Virginia Stewart and brother Jason (Dawn), sisters Kellie (Sean) and Donna (Tim).  Also loved and missed by his nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and bandmates.

Paul had a deep love for music, and it was one of the biggest parts of his life. As a talented guitarist, some of his happiest moments were spent playing, laughing, and making memories with his bandmates in The Battered Mushrooms. Music was more than something he enjoyed — it was where he felt at home and a way he connected with the people he cared about most.

He also had a love for cars of all sizes, from classic cars to his Hot Wheels collection.

Paul, known by many as “Newf”, had a personality that was impossible to forget. His laugh could fill a room, and his caring heart made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. He genuinely cared about those around him and left an impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, the music he played, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will stay with us always.

A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Sunday May 31, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.  Memories to be shared at 2:00 PM.
