It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Hugh Richard Skinner on February 21, 2025, at Kensington Village Long Term Care Home, at the age of 90.
Hugh was the beloved husband of the late Delores Charlene Skinner and the son of the late Sam Skinner and Minnie Doublett. Cherished father of Margo and her family in Scotland. Loving grandfather of Vicki and Robert (Yvonne) and great-grandfather of Flynn and Eloise.
He is survived by his sister Patricia Malton and will be fondly remembered by his nieces Nancy, Bonnie, Christy Lynne, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Hugh was a proud lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Canadian Corps Association. His family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Kensington Village and Dr. Whynot for their compassion and care.
Cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 371 (311 Oakland Avenue, London, Ontario) in memory of Hugh.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (519-433-6181).
A tree will be planted by the staff of Logan Funeral Home as a living memorial to Hugh Skinner.
