It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Marie Johns, who passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Beloved wife of Gregory Johns, loving mother of Philip (Jennie) and Crystal (James Buchan). She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren: Zachary, Carter, Landon, Daniel, and David.
Dear sister of Rachelle and Jeannette Janveaux, and a treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews. Pauline was a beloved sister-in-law to Doug (Gail) and Lance (Elke) Johns. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Donat and Adeline Janveaux, and her brother, Rene.
Pauline was a kind and generous soul who brought joy to all who knew her. As a proud Shrine Lady, she was passionate about supporting children’s hospitals and dedicated herself to helping others. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.
In accordance with Pauline’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital of Canada in her memory.
