In Loving Memory
Barbara Heath Ford passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, in Whitby, Ontario, at the venerable age of 95. She went to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her late husband, Harold (2008). She leaves behind five children, seven grandchildren and their spouses, as well as her sister-in-law, Heather, in her native England.
Barbara came to Canada in 1954 as an enthusiastic young teacher. She found love with Harold and built a family—the two most treasured parts of her life.
She fought the good fight, and her travails are over. She truly embodied this verse:
“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”
1 Timothy 6:12
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Celebration of Life & Visitation
We are pleased to honour Barbara Ford with a Celebration of Life and Visitation. As per her wishes, the family will be holding a private service but welcomes everyone to attend the visitation.
