After a courageous battle with cancer, John passed away at home surrounded by family, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 72 years.
Beloved husband of Denise Charbonneau. Loving father of Shanna (Brian), Sabra (Dwayne), Michelle (Jim), and Mark (Melanie). Treasured grandfather of Kaiden, Braylen & Ryland, Samantha (Matt), Malcolm & Cody, and Alexander, Madisen & Lily. Cherished brother of Brad Hart (Sharron) and Laura Ferguson (Brian). He will be forever missed by his loving family and treasured friends.
The family offers their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shaqil Kassam at the Stronach Cancer Centre and NP John Holbrook at the Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic for their compassionate care and unwavering support throughout his journey.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service or celebration of life. In memory of John, donations to the Southlake Cardiac Care Program or Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
