Died peacefully at Perth District Hospital-Palliative Care Unit with his daughter nearby. Wilmer Gordon Taggart having lived and farmed in Westport, Ontario all his days, Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Elaine (Palmer), his sister Beulah Wright, brother Alan, children Danny (Lucia), Diane (Gary), and Neil, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Predeceased by parents, Wilmer and Edna (Dixon), sister Alice, brother Dean, brother-in-law Basil Wright, sister-in-law Anne, sister-in-law Norma. A Memorial Service will be held in Westport United Church on Sunday April 26, 2026 at 3 o’clock. Inurnment Westport United Church Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to a Service organization of your choice would be appreciated.
