GOWER, James Peter – Born in Meaford, Ontario, to Dr. Elwood Gower, DDS, and Marjorie (Robbins), Jim passed away at home on November 8, 2024, surrounded by love after a long illness.
Jim dedicated his career to education, serving as a teacher, department head, and vice principal with the TSB, making a lasting impact at Monarch Park, Castle Frank/Rosedale Heights, and West Toronto Collegiate. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Ken; and stepsons, John (Kim) and Jamie (Melanie). He was an adored grandfather to Blaise, Carling, Piper, and Raine.

A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date to honor Jim’s memory.
