Nancy Joan Savelli (nee Richards)
June 4, 1935 – October 18, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Joan Savelli, a remarkable woman who left us in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of Robert, cherished mother of Joseph (Lesli), and adored grandmother to Marissa and Jessica, Nancy’s life was dedicated to those she loved. She is also dearly missed by her sister, Beverly. After a brief teaching career, Nancy committed herself to helping others, volunteering across all grade levels in schools, in hospitals, and within social service organizations. Known for her loving spirit and forthright nature, she was a steady source of love and guidance for her family.
Family and friends will be received at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs, 1349 Main Street West, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 12 noon, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
